Spontaneous dinner there. Food was good, local beer - most welcome and enjoyable. Even went for dessert. Quite busy, but really good.

Absolutely fantastic place that has both - a restaurant and a bar. Visited this place for dinner while passing through Austria. We ordered a prime boiled steak and goulash with dumpling. Both the dishes were unique and delicious. Service was nice and friendly. And of course, its beautiful interiors added to its charm and made the ambience cozy! Prices were pretty fine for the quality and quantity of food we got. Highly recommended!!

Gasthaus Goldener Hirschen in Bregenz is a must-visit! The typical Austrian food from Vorarlberg is outstanding, with the Tafelspitzel being exceptionally delicious. The spinach sauce is a no-brainer—absolutely fantastic. Their extensive beer selection is impressive and pairs perfectly with the meal. The bar area is super cozy, making it a great spot to relax. We were attended by the owner, and the service was beyond excellent. Highly recommended if you're in Bregenz!

Very delicious traditional dishes in a comfortable atmosphere. Staff is genuine, passionate and takes good care of you. Great beer selection also. We had a knowledgeable waiter that explained us so many details about the different type of beers we tried. And on top of that, he was a great singer too! We had an amazing evening! Thanks

The food is excellent, and the staff is kind and hardworking, creating a pleasant experience. However, I was deeply concerned by the way the owner repeatedly addressed the young waitresses in an unnecessarily harsh manner. Such behavior not only creates discomfort but could deter me and likely others from returning. A more respectful approach would greatly enhance the atmosphere and ensure a positive experience for everyone.
