Visited on 9th December and this is probably the best value experience we have found over the last 9 months of travelling. The inclusion of historical palatial buildings, significant artwork, items of significance from the church, access to view the historical church from the upper level adjacent to the pipe organ, and some museum collections. It is all very well maintained, pristine and tidy. There are also several locations where you have views over the marketplace where the Christmas Stalls are situated. You could easily spend two hours or more reviewing it all.

This place is definitely worth a visit. Very palatial, wonderful exhibitions, access to the attic of the Dome organ and the adjacent terrace with a beautiful view. A very interesting museum, with centuries-old exhibits. You can see the representative chambers of the archbishop, an art gallery and works of sacred art. The most interesting thing for me was the opportunity to admire the cathedral’s interior from above, from the organ gallery.

This place is a treasure for anyone who loves art and history. The state halls are beautiful, the architecture is amazing, and the paintings really draw you in. The best part was the showcase of Italian artists, which made the visit even more special. Totally worth checking out if you find yourself in Salzburg!

The establishment is aesthetically pleasing, featuring an extensive collection of artwork and historical ecclesiastical artifacts. While it may not elicit an overwhelming sense of awe, it is certainly worth a visit, especially for those in possession of the Salzburg card. However, I must admit that I did not experience any particularly remarkable or extraordinary moments during my visit.

We visited on a Sunday. This was a great day to be in Salzburg if you are NOT a shopper. Lots of shops closed, meaning it wasn’t very crowded. We were there in June. This place is definitely worth visiting. Very palatial, wonderful dispays, access to the Dom organ loft and adjacent terrace with wonderful views. We were practically the only ones there. Staff were very helpful as my wife had a knee injury and needed to use the lift which is not available to public without asking. They were fiery kind and helpful.
