Hotel Sacher

My husband and I regularly stay at 5 star hotels, and this is one of our favorites. Each staff member was professional, as well as courteous and kind. The breakfast members are especially awesome. Larissa was our main server each morning, and we were sad to say goodbye to her. She was friendly and excellent at her job. She even got my husband the recipe for his porridge because he loved his daily porridge. Ursula also made a positive impact at breakfast and made sure my husband had his favorite loose leaf English breakfast. The breakfast buffet, including the ordered hot dishes, was one of the best we've ever had. We loved it! Nothing on our trip compared, and we stayed at 5 different hotels. The hot tea at breakfast was always hot. The actual cafe for non-hotel guests didn't have hot enough tea, which is our only complaint about the cafe from noon to nighttime. Our room was always very clean, but it obviously isn't brand new. It's a historic hotel. Nick, at the front door, was also exceptionally engaging. We really liked him. Again, every single staff member in the hotel left a positive impression even if breakfast was our favorite part.

If you are looking for an amazing, luxury hotel in Salzburg, the Sacher is it. Beautifully appointed rooms and lobby, wonderful restaurants and bar overlooking the river, castle, and old town. The staff were so attentive, friendly, and professional. A special thank you to Philipp and Ursula on making our stay and dining experiences so memorable. We can't wait to come back.

‏We spent 4 nights in Salzburg, so we chose this wonderful and elegant hotel for our stay. ‏ The choice was perfect. ‏ The staff were friendly and helpful, whether they were receptionists, bag holders, or the housekeeping staff, they were wonderful and friendly. ‏ The hotel is located in the center and everything is close by. ‏ The rooms are clean.

We stayed in a Signature Suite with a balcony that offered a magnificent view. The room was exceptional—beautifully maintained, well-managed, and impeccably clean. However, there are a few areas that could benefit from better organization. First, my in-room breakfast order was not properly received. Second, the gym and sauna facilities felt very limited in size, especially considering the overall scale of the hotel. I hope these aspects can be improved to match the otherwise excellent experience. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel and would gladly return in the future

A beautiful hotel ideally located in Salzburg. Service was exceptional and the staff was always available for any request. Rooms were elegant in the Sacher tradition. Breakfast offered so many choices and seemed endless. The terrace restaurant was wonderful and relaxed as one enjoyed the river view. Dinner in the Zirbelzimmer restaurant was always creative and a perfect display of showmanship. Ursula was always so helpful in the mornings in the restaurant, and Philip was such a pleasure in the evenings in the Zirbelzimmer. An exceptional Sacher Hotel.
