Volksgarten

I visited this beautiful park in winter. My February was a good month. I saw the snow to first time in my life. I took a tour with a guide, he explained the history and we walk in the morning and after in the night.

Volksgarten is a lovely and peaceful garden, perfect for a relaxing walk or a short break while exploring Vienna. The gardens are very well maintained, with beautiful flowers, green areas, and plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the surroundings. It’s located right across from Heldenplatz, which makes it very convenient to visit both places at the same time. The contrast between the calm garden and the grand square nearby makes this park even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city.

This public park is created in 1823 for the citizens of Vienna. It combines elements of a French formal garden with classical Greek colonnade-style architecture. The garden is especially famous for its rose garden, along with the Theseus Temple and various commemorative sculptures. With its open views and elegant layout, it is well suited for leisurely walks and relaxation in the heart of the city.

Amazing, left me speechless. It was so relaxing, interesting, quiet spot for those who want to experience something between the buzzing streets and calmness. Loved it!

Beautiful place I was lucky enough to visit in summer 2024. There is a rose garden with Stand roses that are devoted to couple that have donated them to the garden for a special occasion. I think is a brilliant idea.
