Austrian Film Museum

The Austrian Film Museum consistently delivers programming of exceptional quality. Each exhibition and screening is curated with the precision and care of a true craftsman, reflecting a deep respect for cinema and its history. I am particularly looking forward to the Visconti retrospective this week, especially Il Gattopardo, a true temple of Italian cinematic history. Their dedication to high standards makes every visit both intellectually enriching and emotionally engaging, and I am continually inspired by the thoughtfulness and passion evident in their work. 1. They sell you snacks, only to tell you afterwards you can’t eat them inside the cinema. 2. The movie started late 3. The ventilation is a joke — it gets stuffy fast. 4. If you’re taller than 160 cm, get ready for the most uncomfortable seats ever with zero legroom. Two stars only for the movie selection and the nice crowd. +1 extra for the quick review reaction

Small theater, but enjoyable ambiance, with respectful audience. Keep in mind that any introductory talks would likely be in German.

Medium Size Theater with full of good programs, you can find good bar inside also. Invisible Cinema 3 is the name of theater invented by Peter Kubelka.

Definitely a must visit if you are in a trip to Vienna
