Lovely museum detailing the history of the lives of every day Austrians. There is lots to see, but the description could do with being a bit more detailed and clear.

The Austrian Museum for Folk Art inside this charming Palais. A lot objects of the daily life in former times. In the first floor the Exhibitions are changing. Nice garden with a Connection to Schönborn Park 🌿🌺 You will a vegetarian/ vegan Café in the ground floor ☕ 🍰🥂
Wonderful place. The souvenirs are especially amazing. Delicate eggs from Slovakia with amazing art. Also, exhibition on Artificial Intelligence in art was an eye opener. English language folders explain all items in detail. Nice.
This a a fascinating place! A museum but more: It’s a journey through time and space of the experience of becoming Austrian. It’s a sensitive view of what it means to land here, of all places, including the exploration of stereotypes associated with new citizenry.
Not crowded, not tiring as it is quite small, lovely garden+cafe, free entrance for kids, walking distance from Rathaus
