Buxbaum Restaurant

From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Our first time in Vienna, not knowing what to expect, we are so grateful to have found Buxbaum. The service was outstanding, entertaining, and just the right mix of there when you wanted something, private when you wanted that too. I feel I could have ordered literally anything in the menu and been blown away… my fiancé had the Buxbaum 4 course offering and I opted for the special truffle menu. Both were exquisite. Full of flavor and refined at the same time. Each bite so well balanced. I would put this in the top 5 of all restaurants I have ever been to…and I’ve been to quite a few good restaurants. I would go back tomorrow if I could. So good. Thank you! Danke!

This was the most delicious dinner I’ve had in Vienna during my 4-day trip. The food was excellent and the service was good. However, the room where we were seated was extremely quiet - another table was nearby, we almost had to whisper, which I personally didn’t like.

Stylish and lovely spot, I had the most delicious artichoke soup of my life and a fantastic lobster pasta. Truly a delightful experience from start to finish. PS: The only thing I wish — just a slightly bigger portion of that amazing soup! Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Stunning restaurant located in it's own little courtyard! Fantastic service and amazing food. Caviar to start followed by the sea bass for me and an absolutely huge portion of schnitzel for my wife!! Wine recommendations were spot on too! Highly recommend if you are visiting Vienna!

Amazing restaurant and amazing service. Schnitzel top. We went on the truffles season and the truffled tiramisu was really stunning.
