Catch-22 ★★★☆☆ – January 17, 2026

Overall, this café is alright. It's likely better to visit in warm spring or during summer because of the lack of seats. This place gets full very quickly and when I went there with two other people, it was clear that we should have come earlier (we sat ourselves down at the bar which is very inconvenient due to the register being there). The matcha latte with oat milk was alright and the desserts were mediocre (an acquired taste is required). Perhaps the pandan coconut waffles are absolutely amazing but we did not try them (another customer had ordered them and they looked very interesting). All in all, a very busy place but I wouldn't say it's a "must go".

Very cute Cafe. Talking as a Vietnamese. Food is not 100% authentic. Its westernized but still really tasty. I had the rice porridge which was ok. But Matcha & Pastry was insane! I do like their service & atmosphere 🍵⭐️

A coffee shop with Vietnamese characteristics of coffee. There are not many seats in the very small store and not many choices on the menu. But if you want to try specialty coffee, you can have a try. I ordered a cup of coconut water matcha, Vietnamese coffee, lemon mochi and pandan Canelé.The taste is okay. Because there are not many tables in the store, I recommend taking them out or avoiding the rush hour at noon. A small accident. I'm waiting for my friend at the rush hour at noon. Because there are no empty seats.so a male employee in the store came to me and only asked me if I could give up my seat, even though I hadn't finished my food. He only asked me, but he didn't ask the two costumes sitting next to me who had finished their meal already. So I chose to order something again. I can understand the mood of the staff in the store, but I think even if I give up the small table where I was sitting on at that time, it can't accommodate the other five customers and drive people away before they finished the meal. This is a little bit rude.

We went there and all I can say is that I only habe love for this nice cute cafe/restaurant! Everythig we ate was so flavourful and harmonic in taste, so that I recommend this place to 200%! The two owners really love what they are doing and have not only taste for food, but also for interior style! It is kinda small but also so calming and you just feel to be in good hands, also because they look after you. They also have homemade chili oil and a spice mix - they slap!! Love them! These do upgrade your dishes for sure! What I also like is the well done mix/fusion kitchen here, sometimes there is Austrian influence in Asian dishes eg. (or other way around). Can‘t wait to come back.

One of the lovliest places in Vienna, whether for breakfast, lunch or quick coffee/matcha. It's so well designed with a lot of passion for the details (especially the interior), the owners are super nice and welcoming. It reminded me of Kopenhagen cafés in the best way We had the Panzanella with tomatoes, toasted sourdough and mango for starters and it was such an amazing combination. As main we tried the veggie version of the vietnamese dish 'Bò Kho' and it was divine, very well balanced and filling with the rice noodles. The desserts (lime leaf loaf cake, black sesame Canéle) were also such a delight. They also have good specialty coffee, ceremonial grade matcha, homemade lemonades (we loved the pear-camomile one) and vietnamese coffee (iconic vietnamese filter coffee with sweet condensed milk). You can also top your food with their homemade spice mix (with 🔥and szechuan peppercorns) and chili oil or buy bottles for at home (12€). The opening times are not ideal if you work 9-5 or don't live nearby to grab lunch but since it's just a team of 2 and they just opened, it's understandable! We had 2 lemonades/drinks, 1 starter, 2 lunch mains, 2 canéles, 1 cake, 2 vietnamese coffees and bought one of the spice mixes for ~70€ total which is absolutely reasonable imho.
