Excellent New Year's Eve dinner here. The food was delicious, it arrived very fast and our waiter was perfect (friendly and attentive but not overbearing). The prices were very decent for the quality. We'll be back and we can heartily recommend this place !
Tasty dishes with ok price. Waiters are friendly and provide the service properly and in good timing. Their sofa was really comfy and the whole restaurant was bright with the sunlight. Although they didn’t play the music, I could have relaxed and chill time there.
Bought a dessert for 8,80 €, very average taste for such a high price... The staff looked rather annoyed, I had to wait quite a while so someone would pay attention to me. Not a very nice impression overall
Disappointed. As we were paying, the waiter pretended that we have to pay at least 10% tip. And usually in Austria a 5% tip is the norm. If you are a foreigner be careful! And moreover no English or other language menu.
Service and foods were ok but reason for 1 star is because our bill came up to €93.20 which is approx £78 but my debit card statement came up to £91.89. Wrote to Cafe Englander for clarification but being ignored after an acknowledgement email for investigation. So it is advisable to anyone eating at this cafe to check your debit/credit card billing to avoid being charged extra without your consent .
