Café Museum

We ordered an egg Benedict, the traditional Viennese breakfast and the special - Florentine toast. The food was amazing, especially the egg Benedict. The poached eggs were perfectly made and the ham goes really well with it. The Viennese breakfast was okay, not too special but good enough. For the Florentine toast, it was okay but tasted a bit blended with only spinach and some cheese on top. The sourdough below was soggy as well. Better add some pepper on top for more flavour, but overall it’s worth trying still. The service was okay, they were all quite nice but don’t expect too much. It’s definitely on the pricier side but treat as an experience is okay.

If the Secessionists painters had eaten what I had for dinner last night they would have never come back. A frigid night preventing me from walking any further so I took refuge here. The service was wonderful. My head waiter a young man with a welcoming smile and a wonderful attitude made my night. Started with a warm carrot ginger soup, garnished with parsley which promise better things to come, but sadly they were false augurs. The two skinny sausages were insipid even with the accompanying pickle, a plethora of mustards, horseradish and a separate gravy. The potato salad version was watery and slightly acidic for my taste, and not satisfying enough with the sausages. The place is bright, which makes the red upholstery on their banquetes come alive and provide a vibrant atmosphere. Perhaps this might be a better place for coffee and dessert than dinner.

The cappuccino is really good, with creamy milk foam that's rich and slightly sweet. Also, The Kaiserschmarren is sweet but not excessively so, fluffy, and perfectly matched with honey sauce—and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Though slightly pricey, it’s well worth a visit.

On the pricier side, this lovely café has plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and a great menu. The food is fantastic, and the service is prompt and welcoming. If budget isn’t an issue, it’s definitely worth trying local specialties like goulash or schnitzel.

Very nice restaurant and cozy. The egg benedicts were good, however the scrambled eggs were too oily. If your a big fan of coffee and looking for a cafe americano this will not make you fill your stomach you have to order at least another one. Apple struddle was 10/10.
