Cantinetta Antinori

On a Wednesday night in November 2025, we found ourselves walking around at dinnertime to find a quality restaurant with availability. We entered here and were told that the restaurant was fully booked, but we could sit at the bar if we wanted. We gladly accepted and were very happy with our seating arrangements. We enjoyed great wine (recommended to us there based on our feedback about what we like), fresh and delicious food, and delightful tiramisu. Glad we left things to chance this night and found Cantinetta Antinori!

A truly memorable Italian dining experience in Vienna. The atmosphere was elegant and romantic, the service was attentive and professional, and the food was exceptional. The truffle tagliatelle was simply perfect — rich, balanced and full of flavor. The calamari was also one of the best I have ever had: fresh, tender and beautifully prepared. Cantinetta Antinori is definitely a restaurant we would love to visit again. Highly recommended.

THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT I EVER WENT TO! I discovered this spot on Instagram while searching for a good Italian place. When I came in, I felt an amazing vibe and the service was amazing and the servers were very funny and welcoming. The food was really outstanding. We ordered the classic carpaccio 10/10, Frutti di Mare Salad 9/10, and a bolognese 9/10 and a scaloppini allá limone 10/10. This was an amazing lunch choice when in Vienna city center!

Very elegant Italian restaurant. Great atmosphere, incredibly friendly service, and good food. There is also a huge selection of great Italian wines. I think it was the first time I experienced a waiter tasting an expensive Super Tuscan, noticing it was corked, and immediately bringing a new bottle on his own initiative — bravo. That really shows professionalism and builds trust. The suggestion to start with a glass of Franciacorta was also a big plus. The starter was served a little too quickly, just a few minutes after ordering. A place like this is made for enjoying the atmosphere, not for a rushed meal. The timing of the main course was better, although it still could have come a little later. The dishes themselves were good, but were they exceptional? Not quite. The vitello tonnato was excellent — hard to imagine a better one. The steak as a main course was good, but not quite outstanding. It was served in sauce, and for me, the flavor of the meat should stand on its own without additions, which it could not really do here. The monkfish is a fantastic fish when served simply, but here it came with quite a lot of extras and sauces. It was not bad at all, but in my opinion it could have been better. Even so, I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially to lovers of Italy and great Italian wines.

We had our wedding anniversary celebration at this restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious, with high quality ingredients. Best pasta truffle I have ever eaten. The ricotta and butter pasta was also exquisite, as well as the seafood pasta. The service was excellent, our server was extremely nice. We would 100% recommend this restaurant and we will come back for sure ❤️
