After a long flight, I arrived at the hotel exhausted and didn’t have the energy to go anywhere else, so I decided to try the hotel restaurant. Honestly, it turned out to be a great decision. The space had a really nice and interesting atmosphere, and I immediately felt glad I came. All the staff were polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. Pouya helped me choose both my food and cocktail, and his recommendations were excellent. The cocktail he made was head and shoulders above the rest — easily one of the best I’ve had. You can tell he knows exactly what he’s doing. It ended up being a really enjoyable evening and a perfect way to recover after a long trip. I definitely recommend this place.

Came here for dinner in the last week of November with a booking. It was very busy, which actually felt like a great introduction to living in Vienna. The interior is beautiful and really stands out. The bar sits in the centre with tables all around it, high ceilings and hanging plants, and the whole place has a lively but cosy feel. We were dining with our dog and were initially seated quite close to the bar. When we asked if it was possible to move, the staff were genuinely kind and very accommodating and found us a window table straight away. It was nice to feel welcomed with a dog rather than it being an issue, which isn’t always the case. The atmosphere is definitely the strong point here. Great energy, lovely lighting, and a strong cocktail menu. It feels like a place people come to enjoy the space as much as the food. Food was a bit mixed for us. We started with a dozen oysters that were unfortunately quite dry. I very rarely send food back, but asked them to check and the waitress handled it really well and brought out fresher oysters which were much better. The duck main was tasty but quite small. Overall, we had a really enjoyable evening. It does feel like you’re paying more for the atmosphere and location than the food, and the bill was on the expensive side, although we did have several cocktails. I’d happily come back for drinks and the setting, especially as a dog friendly spot.

Had a wonderful dinner at Chez Bernard on Friday, truly the perfect way to end my trip to Vienna. The space is beautiful, warm, and cozy. The food exceeded our expectations: everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were just right. I loved every dish we ordered. The service was outstanding; our waiter guided us through the menu, helped with wine pairings, and offered great recommendations. He was incredibly attentive and friendly. 1000/10

Walked in without a booking during peak Christmas season on our trip to Vienna. It’s a beautiful city and we’ve had amazing time, but nothing compared to sitting in the window view near the bar here. Despite not being dressed up or prepared, we were welcomed wholesomely by Pablo, who tended us and recomended some incredible cocktails, had time to talk freely and made our evening feel incredibly special. I subsequently proposed to my partner the next day, and no where else felt right to come to (again) afterwards. Friendly, beautiful, exclusive but unpretentious, an experience we’ll remember forever. Can not recommend Pablo and everyone he works with enough. From our perspective, this felt like the true feeling of Vienna. Ciao, and thank you.

I highly recommend making a reservation online. We tried to walk in on our first night in Vienna but it was packed! Tania was an amazing host, she was so friendly despite being extremely busy running to all the other tables, but she still made the time to chat with us! The food was really good but the butter was the real star of the show. I highly recommend the mussels, but wasnt crazy about the Chateaubriand, and the Chocolate Souffle was a bit of a let down, it was more like a Chocolate Lava Cake.
