Food is great but waiter force to pay more and are not interested in you as customer. They treat you like one timer customer and let pay you not obligatory tip. Avoid. They also play the same song all over again, he asked to pay a tip I offerd a small one and he put 5 euro more on the bill. Disappointing.
The best wienerschnitzel ever eaten from , end very good salad . Good location, just 100 meter from Vienna Haufbahnhof . The restaurant was fully booked bot the waiter managed to get me a table withinn10 minutes waiting. I was eating alone but it pleasure and I finished the meal with pancake with chocolate and strawberry together with a cup of coffee
I had a craving for Austrian Schnitzel so I got a train ticket and traveled from Győr to Vienna. The Restaurant is very easy to find. You get out of the Central station and voilà there it is. It has an intimate setting as you go in making you feel welcomed and at the same time immersing you in the beer garden experience. All the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable not only about the dishes and the menu recommendations but also the city in general with very good suggestions. The food presentation is top notch. The beer suggestions were amazing. The service is very punctual and the customers do not have to wait long and what they ask, they get. The restaurant also has a BBQ kitchen that I would love to try upon my return. The chocolate dumplings for dessert are amazing. The presentation and the combination of the flavors is unmatched. A good coffee does not need sugar so I did not had to add sugar to the cappuccino. Definitively recommend for first timers who want an Austrian cuisine immersion experience.
Food is basically good, despite that the steak is overcooked. I ordered medium rare, but the inside of the steak is totally grey and brown. After giving the feedback, a staff told me that the steak is cooked by sous vide and couldn’t be medium rare, which seams even more ridiculous, cause: 1. It could 2. sous vide is easier to control how well the steak is cooked 3. They recommend medium rare in the first place. Despite the steak everything is fine though.
