DOOR No. 8 – The Steakhouse

An excellent meal at his steakhouse. We received a warm welcome on arrival and seating in a lovely spot. The place was decorated for the festive season and was warm and cosy. We loved all the dishes selected and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Warming, the starters are large, so order accordingly. One point to observe, one of the steaks is only served medium but was more medium rare. This wasn’t an issue for us, but be aware. Service was great, professional, efficient and always with a smile. My only negative was the wine selection. For a steakhouse the red selection was very disappointing and very limited.

10/10 experience! Door No. 8 Steak House in Vienna was absolutely amazing. I visited twice, and both times the experience was excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked, fresh, full of flavor, and the quality was outstanding. The atmosphere is great, the service was very good, and the whole place feels premium and worth visiting. Honestly, if I could give 10 stars, I would. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an amazing steakhouse in Vienna!

Lukas is the best waiter I’ve ever had in my life but not only that, the food was ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR. My fiancée & I are foodies, we are from Spain and we definitely have a problem with going to restaurants and assess the whole experience. Believe me when I tell you EVERYTHING was fantastic, beyond expectations. The Wagyu Sashimi, the Trilogy with the flambee add-on, the lava cake and the wine!! Please give it try, it’s a place inside a building but truly it doesn’t have the spotlight it should. 20/10

Absolutely superb, easily justified the review ratings and pricetag. Excellent menu with sensible range of cuts, well balanced accompaniments and decent portion sizes. I had a 300g medium rare fillet with chimichurri and parmesan truffle fries, I actually found the delicately flavoured steak suited the subtle truffle dip, and the tangy chichurri cut through the stronger parmesan on then fries, a bit unconventional, but it worked superbly. Our host was attentive and knowledgeable, couldn't fault the experience or the food.

Amazing dinner experience .. ribeye cooked to perfection .. the truffle fries to die for … nice weisbeer They even give you the option to choose your own knife… Incredible stuff and super good service from the smiling ladies in the bar and my waiter Mathias .. closed with a chocolate lava cake with ice cream and an espresso macchiato Per-fe-CTO.
