Durchhaus

The food was very good, especially the beef tartare and lachs risotto. A bit expensive though for some dishes. The waiter was very friendly and the terrace is great in the summer

Very nice restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating area. The service is very friendly, the kitchen very fast and the food delicious. Would warmly recommend.

Our favorite meal in Vienna! It was our favorite meal five years ago, so we hunted this place down - and it was still amazing, food and service. The creme bulee with basil sorbet was to die for!

I took my watercolor workshop group to Durchhaus for a welcome dinner to kick off our stay in Vienna. It's important to make a good impression on the group for the first night - Durrchaus was suggested by management at our Hotel, the Alstadt and it was a wonderful experience! This was the most enjoyable dining experience any of us had in our two weeks in Austria. We sat inside in the front which was decorated with fun & interesting paintings and art on the walls. There's also a nice outdoor seating area but it was a bit chilly that night so we opted for indoors. Francesco and Max took great care of us, entertaining us with background on the restaraunt, the city and life :) We started with plates of mixed appetizers including smoke trout, beef tartare, salad, etc., all of which were delicious and nicely presented. We chose a very good local white wine, Wieninger Gemischter Satz. Our entrees included a wonderful smoked trout with incredible salted skin (which I had and loved), autumnol risotto, and wiener schnitzel among others. All in the group said their entrees were excellent. We finished with a delicious desert of the day. Can't wait to return!

Excellent food quality served in the unique environment of the inner courtyard of this great building. Especially in the summer time a great and romantic place with grape vines as roof. You have to see it!
