Figlmüllers Café am Dom

Leo was the BEST!!! As a solo traveler, he made the whole experience feel so welcoming and easy. The outdoor vibe here is worth it — wine, good food, and St. Stephen’s glowing at night. Ended up staying way longer than planned. One of my favorite Vienna memories already 🤍 Get the Dom Fries!

Great spot for a break in the heart of Vienna, right next to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Cozy atmosphere, good coffee, and friendly service. Perfect for a quick stop to relax and enjoy the view while exploring the city!

If you can’t make it to the Figlmüller restaurant because you didn’t reserve, I highly recommend going here right at the Dom, with fantastic views of the Stephankirche!! Their wine is amazing and the famous wienerschnitzel too…

Incredible service from Csaba, atmosphere is perfect being beside the cathedral, and the food was phenomenal, couldn’t recommend a better place. Came back the following day to the same level of service and hospitality, can’t fault

This place is terrible — a horrible experience as a tourist from another country. I was in Vienna on April 12, 2026. My three friends and I wanted to sit here. First of all, the waiter did not welcome us politely. He told us that we could only sit inside for one hour. We accepted this because we were tired. After about 10 minutes, he came back and asked what we would like to order. My three friends ordered their meals, but I didn’t want to order anything since I was already full. However, he rudely insisted that if I didn’t order anything, I would have to leave the table. The staff behaved very rudely and impolitely towards us. As a tourist, I do NOT recommend this place. If you still decide to go, be aware that they may ask you to leave if you don’t order anything.
