This is a quintessential spot! Wonderful atmosphere with a great menu of interesting delights. Is a small buffet where you can order right off from a plethora of interesting spreads and small snacks like pickles and olives and peppers and including pork belly and other products. Or get yourself some chicken! Baby you want pineapple apple strudel? It was very good! The main dishes and all of the beverages that are available here at this establishment are extensive and very good. Our group smoked three bottles of wine and three small pictures of homemade white grape juice and multiple bottles of water. Venison options are not something you see in the states very often but hear it they had a couple on the menu and they were very good. We had a gentleman visiting our tables who would serenade us with his squeeze box and saying some familiar popular tunes of the area and a couple from our home country in the United States 😁 the patrons of the establishment joined in singing with us as well and the restaurant was full of great vibes!

The food was plentiful! It was goose season and the goose was very well prepared. We wanted the liver as appetizer, but got the full serving and they were more like dried out and grizzly liver nuggets. The rotkraut was very very mushy. The goose was the only decent thing. The accordionist clearly saw we eye not natives so came to our table. Then he just stood there waiting to be paid — it was extremely awkward. He didn’t bother going to other tables. We had to flag down the staff for service multiple times, so come for the goose, don’t bother coming otherwise.

The food was amazing and the seasonal drinks - Sturm and the Most(without alcohol). They are very tasty and you must give it a try when they are still there!! It is only for a short term and they are the really first part of the wine. Really sweet and delicious.

This has become our favourite spot since moving to Vienna. Warm and friendly atmosphere and service, nice and tasty food and a wine list to die for. Also hats off for the vegan Bunzen - I am an avid meat eater myself but this was a dish that surprised me in so many ways! Highly recommended.

We had our conference dinner party at this brunch place. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was even better. It transported me back in time.
