FURORE – BAR CAFFÈ

This place is AMAZING! One of the best secret bar spots in Vienna. If you’re searching for good price/ quality drinks this is where you should go. Furore is not only super hip but you also meet great people. Plus they regularly make nice collaborations like with the oyster boys where you can combine your drinks with delicious oysters. GO THERE, YOU WON’T REGRET IT ;)

As a few other reviews have said the owners attitude really lets this place down. We were a group of 4 people, and we all ordered drinks on arriving and 20 minutes later the owner came over to ask for more orders, all but one of us hadn’t finished our drinks (three of us were drinking strong cocktails after all) so we politely said no, we’d finish these first. He came over again 10 minutes later, asking us to make room on the table with another group, that was fine although he spoke in a rather abrupt way which was completely counter to his initial enthusiastic mood (one of those hospitality types that is trying rather hard to ‘be your friend’). Again he came over (at this point we’d still only been there 35 minutes) and so we asked for the menu again to decide what to order next. We decided to switch to wines and ordered a round and some snacks. Another 15 minutes passed and a larger group comes in, he comes over and tells us that he’s sorry but he needs to make room for these people, only there’s zero way we can actually make room for them because we’re already squeezed in, and we literally have drinks and snacks on the table. But what he clearly meant is that he’d like them to take the table instead. We all look at each other because it was super weird attitude to take and decide to just keep drinking because it was so absurd- it’s not like we weren’t ordering anything and literally just had a new round with snacks on the table. One of our friends finishes her drink first and orders another wine, when he came back again I said that I wanted to take a moment to look at the menu to change wines. Again, he says- ‘look, I really need this table’. Again we all look at each other like WTF because we literally are intending to stay and spend money but the guy seems intent on churning his customers over to get max profit. We’re all pretty offended at this point and when he comes back over we ask for the check and wait for our friend to finish her drink. Even on doing the check his vibe was off- just a totally rude attitude. Honestly, this is an owner that is just about the money, there is no respect for the customer or their enjoyment. The other negative reviews here back this up, and I’m are they won’t be the last. The owners gas-lighting responses also tell the same story-I'm sure he'll respond in the same way here. There’s far more professional and friendly options in Vienna- avoid!

The focaccia and cocktails are really good - the basil smash is my favourite! Super friendly staff and overall nice place with a good vibe!

coolest new bar in the neighborhood (opened april 2025). great craft cocktails. i went in alone and the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable.

Best drinks in Vienna! Highly recommended for atmosphere and community 🫶🏻
