Excellent food. Had to come back a second day because they were completely booked. Totally worth it. From the warm bread to dessert. Excellent Austrian food.

Walked in at 6pm in the hope of getting a seat, at first it wasn’t looking hopeful, but they found a gap for me which I really appreciated. This was the finest meal of Austrian cuisine I’ve had in Vienna. Simple but with great care and consistency. Very friendly and kind staff. Accommodating.

Our favorite spot for authentic Austrian cuisine - made even better by the talent of the wonderful chef and hospitality of the owner Christian. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming, creating the full Viennese Gasthaus experience from the moment you arrive. The food is consistently outstanding, with perfectly portioned dishes and a menu that rotates to keep things fresh and exciting. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, making every visit feel special. Just note that they aren’t open on weekends. Highly recommended.

I had high expectations of this place because I go to the Kansas City, Missouri Grunauer often and it's excellent every time! They did not let me down, food service and quaint atmosphere was great! Thanks to Jules, Christopher and all the staff for making us feel welcome. I will never forget it!

Phenomenal restaurant! Service was excellent. Our waiters were very welcoming and took time to translate the menu for us. Excellent combination of flavors. The food is very traditional and the menu changes seasonally. The atmosphere is very cool. Prices are very fair too. This is an excellent restaurant!
