Cozy and authentic restaurant outside the downtown area. We really enjoyed the food, definitely some of the best we have had in Vienna. Fresh salad, great schnitzel. Prices are pretty steep but we don't mind that for a high quality meal. Fyi, it's a little odd to be surrounded by two or three sex/strip clubs across the street but doesn't take away from the experience.

Went here for lunch with my partner. We shared a soup with pancakes, a pork roast with Semmelknödel (bread dumpling) and a schnitzel. Including a drink each the total was about 65€ which isn't cheap but an expected price. The soup was flavorful but I thought it was a bit too salty. Still liked it though. The mains were both great! The pork roast was incredibly tender and juicy and the seasoning was on point. Dumpling and sauce were good too. The schitzel was massive, thin as a paper and really crispy with a rich and buttery taste. Potato salad was quite tasty too. Definitely want to go again.

That was really good. Got there because of the reviews on Google Maps, and I am leaving best recommendation for others. All the meat meals were great, interesting and good structure. They agreed to serve 1 fish and chips portion to two kids. And that made great kids friendly menu.

Food: 4-star. This is a tough one. Since we're in Vienna, we had to try the famous Austrian dish - Viennese schnitzel. And this is the place to try it, according to TripAdvisor. We're not big fans of "meat & potato" type of cuisine. So the assessment here might not be fair to their cooking. However, the dishes were decent, and you can tell that they were made with great deal of care and craftsmanship. We were also told (by another patron) that this is a well established restaurant with long family history. Hence, 4 stars. BTW, if you are looking for your typical veal special flavor / taste, you won't find it. However, I was delightfully surprised how interesting the potato side salad was. Service: Great service overall. Really nothing to pick on. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is due to how busy the place is. We didn't book reservations beforehand. We walked in on a winter Monday night, the wait was around 40mins (and it wasn't guaranteed either). So if this is a place you must go, make reservations ahead of time. Atmosphere: it's a very cozy, low-key, casual and warm place. You'll find yourself surrounded by locals along with Vienna visitors, all seeming to have a good time. Tables and chairs all seem to carry a piece of this restaurant's history. I gave it a 5-star rating isn't because of any fancy or upscaled interior decor (it's actually the opposite, again, it has very simple and low-key decor), but rather the culture and the vibe you get when you walk in there.

Came in for dinner with no reservation as this place was just around the corner from my hotel. The place was almost full and seems popular for an after work dinner. Service was prompt and attentive. Had their house beer and the beef goulash. Food was a bit salty for me but the beef was so tender.
