Not a big gallery, but one can see paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Van Dyck and other famous artists. Of course the highlight was The last judgement of Bosch. There were a very few visitors which was in contrast with the other museums in Vienna.

I cannot stress what a gem this is. Chock full of works by the greats and their students. Their collection goes back 600 years and spans schools all across Europe. Truly incredible and rare. Best 12€ I spent at any museum in Vienna.
Wonderful artwork collection where you'll likely be alone or with very few other visitors around. I would have liked to have some short description or history of the artwork next to it, which is provided only by the audioguide that you have to pay for, which seems to me not really worth doing.
It is not too big and although the highlights were definitely Bosch and Rubens, it contains some really fascinating paintings by less renowned authors, worth seeing. Current exhibition is very nicely designed, although in order to fully understand the idea of the curratos, one has to carefully read the exhibition guide available at the entrance (in German or English). Building is also quite fascinating itself.
beautiful building and wonderful paintings gallery
