Living nearby, I was drawn in by the crowds passing by every day. After finally dining here, I realized they aren't just serving great food; they are offering a level of genuine kindness that feels like a rare luxury in Vienna. Unlike some of the neighboring "high-traffic" restaurants—which can be notoriously arrogant, making you feel as if you should be grateful just to have a seat—the staff here are witty, professional, and incredibly welcoming. For a traveler used to the typical "Viennese cold shoulder," the hospitality here is a five-star breath of fresh air that makes the whole experience truly relaxing and joyful. The food certainly lived up to the hype: • Beef Tartare: Exceptionally fresh with a rich variety of sides. The seasoning is elegant and subtle, allowing the natural sweetness of the beef to shine (though you can always add a pinch of salt and pepper from the table if you prefer a bolder kick). • Liver Dumpling Soup (Leberknödel): My first time trying this Austrian classic, and it absolutely won me over. • Draft Beer: They offer three different types of draft beer, and every single one is worth a try. The portions are generous—a hearty starter, a bowl of soup, and couple of beers were more than enough for one person. My only regret is not having enough room for the main courses! I guess I’ll just have to save those for my next visit. If you’re tired of the snobbery at those famous spots near the Belvedere, come here instead. You’ll fall in love with Austrian hospitality all over again.

Absolutely fantastic quality food! Vibrant location! Amazing portions at a fair price! Friendly service on top?! This is the DREAM location if you want to get right to the heart of Austrian cuisine. I marched up to the chef and had to tell him this was the best potato salad I’ve had in the whole of Austria. Unbelievably delicious Blunzengröstl with a remarkable balance of seasoning and ingredients. If you order it; it’s homemade - from the preislbeern (cranberry) sauce, to the sauerkraut, it’s like the chef is giving you parts of his soul in each mouthful. The schweinschnitzel was enormous and perfectly cooked, I will dream of it for sure. If you are in Vienna you’d be sad to miss this hidden gem of utmost respect to tradition and quality. Perfect.

We got the beef goulash and the sirloin stake. The beef goulash was one of the best I have ever tasted, the sauce was so flavorful and the meat was very tender. I liked also how they gave the option to have a smaller portion for this meal. Amazing value for money. However, the sirloin stake was normal, it was expensive for the price and not so tender. The wine prices were very good and it was well located. The atmosphere and interior were very nice.

The place looks authentic and we went there with high expectations to enjoy our first meal in Vienna We both ordered a Wiener Schintzel as it felt almost a mandatory choice I regret to say that the meat was borderline tasteless, no matter how much salt and lemon I tried to add to let the flavor come out at least a bit The food looked good and well prepared but our meal felt definitely unsatisfactory It was also a shame that both our 2 neighbour tables were quite noisy and it's guests agitated

Our first meal in Vienna and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere was so cozy and service was great. They serve awesome home style traditional Viennese cuisine. Their veal schnitzel and calf liver were amazing. Reservation would be recommended to avoid disappointment.
