Gulasch & Soehne

This was one of the best meals we have had in Vienna. The Goulash was delicious but the boiled beef was such a highlight!! You cannot skip this restaurant. Well worth a wait or a reservation in advance. The strudel was also very delicious. 10/10

Amazing experience. One of the best experiences in the restaurants of Vienna. The restaurant is very cozy and tiny, with few tables available. When it’s warmer weather you have the possibility to eat outside hence more tables available. We arrived pre-dinner rush hrs therefore we were able to find a table easy. Don’t get disappointed if there is no space and try again another day, their goulash is top notch taste. And the dessert apfelstrudel is amazing, leave space for it!! The prices are very affordable compared to other places. Lastly would like to praise Gianni for his friendly customer service. He made our experience the most enjoyable. Not only was he managing the restaurant alone, he also made sure everyone left the restaurant in the best mood possible; give him a raise, he is one of the reasons the restaurant has such good reviews!

A delightful Viennese gem. The décor is warm and full of character — classic café elegance with a playful twist. Service was friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. The goulash was rich and hearty, perfectly balanced with fresh Semmel rolls. Even the simple sausage and mustard dish was done beautifully. A place that truly lives up to its motto — indulgence without guilt. Highly recommended for a cozy lunch in Vienna’s city center.

Nice cosy place. We had the small goulasch and the rose sparkling wine and everything was perfect. The guy taking the orders was very helpful and welcoming and his suggestions were well appreciated.

We were greeted with wonderful service from the one person working the bar and restaurant space. He was incredibly kind, respectful, and welcoming. The food was a plus, too! We got the small beef gulasch and the portion size was perfect for one person.
