Hands down the best goulash in Vienna! The meat was incredibly tender and the sauce was rich and full of flavor. On top of the fantastic food, our waiter Gianni provided world-class service - he was extremely polite, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Do not skip the Apfelstrudel for dessert either. Easily a 5-star experience, I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

We visited Gulasch & Söhne around 3 p.m. and had a really great experience. It’s a small, cozy place with a relaxed atmosphere, and at that time there was plenty of space. I can imagine it gets much busier during peak hours like lunch or dinner. We tried the Fiaker goulash, the Czech-style cabbage goulash, a beef bouillon, and an apple strudel with vanilla sauce. Overall, the dishes were excellent—very flavorful and clearly well-prepared. The only minor point is that the goulash could have been a bit hotter temperature-wise, but that’s just a personal preference, and I’m sure they would have adjusted it if we had mentioned it. The service was outstanding. The staff member who attended us was very professional, attentive, and delivered a genuinely high level of service. In terms of pricing, it’s slightly on the higher side compared to other places. We ordered everything in large portions, and some items like bread or the vanilla sauce are charged separately, which is worth keeping in mind. That said, we had a very positive experience overall and can definitely recommend this place if you want to try authentic, high-quality goulash and other traditional dishes. We’ll definitely come back to try the Wiener Schnitzel next time.

Nice place with excellent service and good food. Waiter was helpful and the service was fast. As for the food, wiener schnitzel was great, tasty! On the other hand, I found many meat pieces with a lot of soft bones attached, which should have been removed during meat preparation for goulash. Otherwise, it was delicious. Salad was fine, though the meat taste was intensive, due to vinegar that is used for its marinade, as the waitor has stressed prior we placed the order. All in all, great service and food for the price.

From the moment we arrived until we left, we had a wonderful experience. The Wiener Schnitzel was perfectly cooked, the Beef Goulash was rich and flavorful, and the overall quality of the food exceeded our expectations. What stood out the most, however, was the service. Gianni was absolutely outstanding. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy on a Friday evening and he appeared to be the only waiter serving the entire dining room, he remained calm, friendly, and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. He made sure everything was taken care of, answered our questions with a smile, and never once let the pressure affect the quality of his service. His professionalism and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Excellent food, exceptional service, and a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be back!

Nothing to complain, everything just perfect Professional waitress, best salad potato ever, gulasch is a must try. Food: 10/10 good texture and tasty, the real taste of beef Place: easy to find and nearby the tram station, cozy place with a good vibe, we also like the music on background (and there is maybe the smallest toilet sink in the world, it so cute :)) Service: 10/10 Price: there is a great dining for 2 with enough and we spend 50 eur. I think it is a good price
