Fantastic location and convenient. The rooftop is very good and the pool perfect for spending an hour or a day with great service from the staff. The reason for the 4 stars were the pillows in the room and the expensive avocado toast which was tiny. May be a little harsh but everything else was brilliant
The hotel is located in the heart of the city and is central to all attractions. Walkable to opera house and other places. The reception and service staffs are very friendly and made the stay even memorable. They have a Michelin star restaurant which is amazing. The metro and transit connections are walkable.
What a fantastic hotel in Vienna and what a wonderful stay we had. The welcome we received set the whole tone. Klara was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed and professionalism and warmth. The facilities were great and the rooftop pool was a life saver in the recent brutal heat and the staff up there were excellent. Breakfast was also a highlight. Would stay here again and would highly recommend.
The location of the hotel was excellent for exploring all parts of the city - on the edge of the historic centre, on the ring, and close to multiple public transport options. My room was very small - I was travelling alone but for two people it would have been a struggle - but it was comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, I felt that the price was high given the size of the room.
The Hotel Grand Ferdinand was an unexpected delight! Chic decor, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and exceptional service, were just a few hallmarks of my five night stay. The location was perfect for seeing the sights on foot, as it truly is in the center of town. Overall, I would love to stay there again, it was a wonderful experience.
