Hotel MOTTO

Fantastic hotel. We spent 4 nights at this beautiful chic boutique hotel. Perfect for a romantic trip to Vienna. The staff are incredible, all so friendly and fun. Our room was beautiful as was the whole hotel. The bar is a super place to end the evening...the ambience, the staff and the setting...all just perfect. We already want to go back and will definitely stay at Hotel Motto again...just fabulous

We stayed at athe Hotel for 4 nights during our romantic trip to Vienna and absolutely loved the hotel. Rooms are immaculate and very quiet even if our room was located in front of the elvators and our windows toward a very busy street. Sound insulation is remarquable! We had a superior room and really enjoyed the roomy bathroom with heated ceramix tiles. The staff is A1 and on Friday and Saturday evenings, we enjoyed a complimentary cocktail as a barman goes from room to room and offers a variety of cocktails he mixes on your front door. Nice touch. The hotel is well located right by a suway station, a few steps form a amjor shopping and pedestrian street, right besides a great bakery, in front of a café and to top it all, has a great restaurant on the top floor. Make sure you eat at Cher Bernard as the ambiance is fabulous and the food is great. All in a everything felt premium and we strongly recommend staying at the Motto!

Nicely redesigned boutique hotel. Very on trend. Be aware there is no lobby or included breakfast. There is a restaurant upstairs that is rather nice, but seems to be a completely separate entity from the hotel. Being a guest at the hotel does not guarantee you availability for breakfast or dinner, and the hotel will not help with reservations or availability at the restaurant. In fact we found the hotel staff to not really help with anything. No help with bags, or anyone to show you to your room. They don’t even open the rather heavy door from the reception to the elevator as you struggle with your bags. The only saving grace of hospitality was a courtesy cocktail service around 6pm Pascal who came to the door with a cocktail cart was the most polite and friendly member of the staff we experienced there. The location is good, in a trendy part of town, and easy to get to the Inner Stadt with the U Bahn just by the hotel.

I have traveled to over 50 countries; sometimes for work and sometimes for a holiday. Hôtel Motto is one of the very top hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Top notch staff, gorgeous room, fantastic atmosphere, and an incredible restaurant. Everyone at the reception was excellent. I had the most contact with Sandra who was just absolutely astonishingly kind and efficient and helped me with a couple of special (and difficult) requests I had. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
