John Harris Fitness Schillerplatz

I actually got a bit lost at first because of how big it is, but that just shows how much they offer! The atmosphere is top-tier: modern, clean, and surprisingly relaxing thanks to the greenery and open design. Whether you’re into lifting, cardio, or just enjoying a calm workout environment, this place hits the mark. Definitely a gym that makes fitness feel enjoyable.

Had the best massage by Jess. This woman has the power of a bodybuilder. Definately will be back again.

Staying at the Le Meridien Hotel this place was recommended for a massage. I booked by phone several days in advance. When I got to the front desk, I was told that in addition to the price of the massage, I need to pay for a day pass for the gym. Moreover, I was told that I would have to pay to get a towel. Incredulously I asked if they are serious since it is quite absurd to have a massage and not get a towel to shower before. The manager then said that these are the rules, so I left again.

I like it but I like other branches more, since Schillerplatz is mostly too crowded in the evenings. Since some of the workout zones are windowless it feels a bit like in a bunker. The pool is cool, the staff and guests /members are mostly friendly.

the offer is good in variety of training options (from monkey bars and high bars to all kinds of machines). BUT, this gym is so helplessly overcrowded, its impossible to find a time of day where the locker room is not full of people. in the gym itself it sometimes distributes bc of the sheer size. but this does NOT apply to the wellness area. its PACKED FULL ALL DAY LONG. a tiny sauna with 12 people in it? .. well not for me. the wellness area is part of the offering, and for me, an important one. barely two stars as a result.
