it's just a cafeteria for the people who works in the Palace of Justice, but lately became a tourist spot due to its view. The food quality is just on an average level, nothing really impressive. A lot of tourists came here actually is for the view, but most of them don't know it's mandatory to consume something inside the restuarant in order to be allowed to stay, that's why restaurant stuff have to explain to everyone over and over again about the rules, so personally I understood some visitors complained about their attitude, for me, I cannot keep my smile to all the tourists if I am one of them since this place was originally not a tourist spot.

The view is simply incredible! We had a wonderful time enjoying the beauty of Vienna here. The coffee and cakes were good:) This place must be added to the list of must-see places in Vienna. Definitely recommend!

We were informed that we can only see the balcony if we eat something from the cafe, meanwhile we saw other turists outside on the balcony without consuming. The waiter stopped us from going into the balcony and was very rude.

Hearty food with amazing city views. The food at Justizcafe is simple but hearty. Great place for a lunch break with the locals. We had the Wiener schnitzel, the brocoli soup and an apple strudel. Very good value for money I highly recommended it.

What a hidden gem for a coffee and a cake in Vienna! The views are spectacular over the city, and the food and drink (we had an apple strudel, a coffee and a tea) is tasty, reasonably priced, and fresh. Not ‘haute couture’ but if you’re looking for somewhere away from the crowds with an unbeatable view and tasty treats, head here! Heads up that the staff don’t speak English (which meant we couldn’t decipher what savoury food was on offer that day) but others seemed to enjoy their main meals just as much as we enjoyed our dessert! And there’s the added bonus that you get to pass through a beautiful hall on your way up to the cafe for some fab photos too!
