A wonderful, romantic restaurant. We had a great dinner at this restaurant, which is conveniently located near Saint Stephen’s Cathedral. The atmosphere is lovely – much cozier than some of the posted pictures seem to suggest. The noise level was great - there was very soft music playing, and one could hear a murmur of conversations from adjoining tables, but conversation was easy and clear without any strain to hear or need to talk loudly. The food was great. My wife had what was basically a fancy pork chop which was nicely seasoned and very tender. I had the potato risotto with burrata cheese, and it was great. Prices were very reasonable. The service was exceptionally good! A special shout out to Anjet from Afghanistan (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) and to Manuel. They guided us through the menu, helped us pick out just the right wine, and were extremely attentive and helpful. The manager also came by; everyone seemed to want to make sure we had a good experience, which we most certainly did. Highly recommended! We will happily return when we are back in Vienna.

I dined at this restaurant during my stay in Vienna. Having already visited several Michelin-recommended establishments, I was curious to explore the philosophy behind this cuisine. However, the experience did not fully convince me: while the ingredients are of good quality, the dishes, in my opinion, lack a clear identity and are not fully brought to their potential. The potato gnocchi stuffed with ricotta, though delicious on their own, were too large, making the overall balance heavy. Served with pumpkin cream and diced pumpkin, the dish would benefit from a lighter, fresher element to highlight the delicacy of the gnocchi. The pork served with a bao also fell short: the dish seems to aim for trendy Asian-inspired fusion but ends up unbalanced, with some cooking techniques not fully successful. The service, while polite, was quite basic. I believe this restaurant has potential, but it could benefit from giving more character and identity to the cuisine, better showcasing its ingredients and paying closer attention to detail.

We ate here on a Monday evening, it's never easy to find a good spot Mondays! However this was exceptional with a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. The restaurant aims to bridge the gap between fine dining and slow/farm to table food. I can report that it does that spectacularly well. We ate a la carte and enjoyed sharing an creative and tasty carrot starter, delicate cured salmon trout with buttermilk and potatoes followed by a really tasty ribeye steak. Wine by the glass, with good advice from the sommelier/waiter. Top marks and we would return with pleasure.

staff was amazing, even found a volcano firework candle for my wife's birthday, thank you! Food was not what you would expect from a michelin restaurant!

I’ve never had an experience like this in my life. We entered through what used to be the main entrance, and the staff yelled at us to go to the other side. There were three adults and two small children, and the waiter gave us a dirty look because of the kids. I told him about three times that we were a party of five, and he seated us at a table with only two utensils! I looked at him in disbelief. The menu had only six options, one of which was gazpacho with pesto! Help! What is that? If you’re going to use ingredients from Italian cuisine ( our cuisine our culture ) at least use them properly! Then I politely asked if they had anything for the children to eat, and he looked at me in disgust and shouted a disrespectful “NO.” I got up and left! This restaurant is pathetic, putting on a Michelin sticker ( of 2018 ) and some slow food when it’s nothing of the sort! The staff was extremely rude, and places like this should be shut down! People who have no respect for children, animals, and the elderly are unacceptable, and to the waiter, if you’re reading this, you’re worth nothing.DOESNT DESERVE EVEN 1 star
