Lainzer Tiergarten

It was a nice trip 7 hours long. We did 16 km. The park offers a breathtaking landscape with forests, meadows and rivers that are perfect for hiking and relaxing. I was amazed at the variety of wildlife that lives here and was able to spot many of them, including deer, wild boars and birds. There were also many information-rich signs providing information about the park's history and flora and fauna. I recommend everyone to visit this beautiful park and be enchanted by its beauty and rich ecosystem. Therefore 5 stars!!!

A large wildlife sanctuary connecting two Viennese districts with lower Austria, bordered by a large, high wall. You can enter at 6 different points / doors and have long walks with beautiful vistas. Dogs are not allowed because of the wildlife. A forest paradise in the city, easily accessible by subway U4 terminal stop. I love it!

What a wonderful place for a hike that is paved and easy to walk! Beautiful scenery. Hermesvilla is inside. You can walk as far and as long as you desire. There is a small childrens play area inside. Many benches to stop and rest and have a small bite to eat with hot tea(you must bring your own)... which is what a friend and I did. Very pleasant. Parking is ample when it's not too busy. Navigating there is easy by car. Parking is free. Unsure if there are restrooms. Please keep that in mind if you plan to walk far. A very pleasant and calm area for families. I would highly suggest it to anyone looking for a great walk!

Wonderful place for both a light hike and a nice walk in the nature!

A super lovely park with trails and beautiful things to see. We are hoping to spot a boar but no such luck this time. We saw a lot of ramps!
