L’Amour du Pain is THE place to go if you’re looking for delicious authentic pastries in Vienna! Every bite takes you back to a quaint pastry shop in Paris that nails the balance of richness, butteriness, and sweetness. The prices are fair for the quality too! My personal favourite is the pecan pastry, and if you’re a citrus person, the citron tart is a beautiful combination of tartness, tang, and fluffiness and airiness of the cream on top of it. The coffee is also great and pairs well with the buttery pastries! You can also see the pastries being made in front of you in the open kitchen. Seating-wise, it’s a small place so seating is very limited. There’s seating outdoors as well but during the winter, nobody sits outside as it’s too cold. With the amount of business they’re getting, they should move to a bigger place as the number of people coming into the store never ceases!

Great almond croissant, definitely in the top 3 of all bakeries in Vienna. A double espresso can definitely be better. The paste filling could’ve been a bit more generous, and double espresso was mid at best. I will definitely come back to try more.

💯% RECOMMENDED! We arrived at 9am and it wasn't too busy. It's a small, quaint place with not a lot of seating. We ordered the classic and chocolate croissants and a cinnamon roll and everything was so fresh. It should be your 1st choice if you want a proper croissant that tastes like it was just made a few hours ago! Enjoy! I

It's so simple, they have people who know how to make such delicious and professionally made pastries with a barista who really knows how to make coffee and add to that a little smile and kind service from the staff. And because they are confident in themselves, they let you watch the pastry chef preparing the pastries behind the glass inside the place. Really, a really good place to start the morning, highly recommended.

I got the almond croissant and lemon tart! Almond croissant was so flaky and yum!! The filling inside is just the right amount and hits the spot, it’s easily the best almond croissant I’ve ever had! Lemon tart on the other hand was a tad too sour for me but the crust was good
