Reviews
Beatiful creations with retro/vintage inspirations, I was mesmerized. But above all i think i was amazed by how kind the ladies working at the shop were, with a lot of information about the brand to share, but going far beyond that. Thanks to Melina (if i understood correctly her name) i could know more about Vienna vintage scene. Couldnt recomend more! For original fashion, and especially retro inspired fashion, you should visit this shop!
the most beautiful shop in town. you gotta love Lena and her wonderful creations!
Cool.
I can only agree with the bad reviews. I received a Lena Hoschek skirt as a Christmas present, which I ordered online. Unfortunately it was too big. That's why we went to the shop on Seilergasse to exchange it. Firstly, the saleswoman on site wasn't very helpful and wasn't really friendly either. Secondly, it was then explained to us that you cannot return items of clothing that you ordered online to the shop (even though the right size was available). I find that an absolute disgrace in this price range!!! This even works with large retail chains such as H&M, Zara and co. We were really very disappointed. This was probably my first and last piece of clothing from this designer.
Disappointing quality and dubious prices Lena Hoschek's clothing is disappointing across the board. The extremely high prices suggest high quality. Many pieces consist of more than 50% materials such as viscose, polyacrylic or polyester, which are made of plastic, are anything but high quality and are bought cheaply. After just a few hand washes, the garments will look worn and inferior. If you are unsure about what the pieces will look like over time, you can simply look at second-hand platforms like Vinted. The fit is also poor. The skirts I ordered feel more like size M even though I ordered XS. One gets the impression that Lena Hoschek has forgotten that slim body types exist. The pricing is also highly dubious. I bought the huntress jacket for €600, which now costs €800. (see picture) At the same time, other pieces are drastically reduced after a few months. (e.g. the cream tea sweater I bought for €300 now costs €84) (see picture) Artificial shortages are intended to suggest desirability, which should lead to increased purchases: After the sale, the entire collection or individual pieces are regularly taken offline to signal sales, although after a few months everything is available again as normal. According to stories, the sales staff are extremely arrogant. This is especially incomprehensible when you consider that it ultimately sells overpriced “grandma clothes” to compensate for the brand's humble beginnings. High-end fashion designers often offer more stylish and sometimes cheaper clothing without drastically increasing their prices when celebrities wear their clothes - which happens regularly there. In the case of medium-sized fashion companies like Lena Hoschek, however, a few prominent customers mean that prices rise significantly in a short time due to arrogance. For these reasons I will not recommend the brand.
