I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing: I lost my car key at this bar — and I fully accept that this was my responsibility. However, the way the situation was handled afterwards raises serious concerns about the venue’s organization and professionalism: The day after I lost the key, I returned and was told that nothing had been found. I left my contact details and asked to be informed if it turned up. I was never contacted. Since my car is not registered in Austria, replacing the key was impossible at that time so I came back to the bar after some time again — and a staff member confirmed that my car key had actually been at the bar for nearly two months!!! However, the key wasn’t there any longer and she did not know where it was…😳 I left my contact details again and asked for any information about its destiny. I also sent several emails to management and messages via Instagram. No one ever responded. It has been confirmed that my key was in the bar, yet its current whereabouts are unknown, and no one has provided any explanation or taken responsibility. This is particularly concerning considering that in responsible environment found belongings are either properly stored (lost’n’ found of the city) or returned. The complete lack of communication and accountability is what makes this situation unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my impression of the place. I no longer feel comfortable visiting or recommending

It’s a very cozy and heartwarming bar to spend an evening discussing life! You are not bothered so you can focus on the moment, but the staff is there as soon as you need anything

Spent 5 out of 6 days in Vienna here. Warm, nostalgic, took me back to a cozy bar in NY, but better. Can’t describe the warmth here! Thank you:)

I paid for a coffee and sat for a while then I had to use the women’s toilet. It was really bad, there was a pad just laying there, there is no proper light, the toilet was extremely disgusting and full of streaks, there wasn’t even a toilet brush that one could clean up after themselves, for a coffee shop a somewhat clean bathroom should be the absolute minimum condition. This was extremely unhygienic.

I had a really nice time at this café—great coffee and a lovely atmosphere. One thing that stood out to me was how impressively the worker managed everything alone, even though the place was completely full inside and out. They handled it so well, but I did feel like having an extra person on a busy Saturday morning would make things easier. Still, it’s a great spot, and I’d definitely come back!
