We had a wonderful experience here on NYE. Curated menu offered at the pace we preferred, as the team made it a point to ask how to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. 5 star service - extremely professional and well trained waiting staff. The food was just inventive enough, and portions were quite generous for a multi course (tasting like) menu. Bravo. Would definitely recommend.

Before I went to Vienna I had heard that cafe and restaurant staff were often surly, grumpy or even rude. For our first dinner I chose Liebsteinsky, an historic restaurant, known for its traditional Austrian cuisine and charming old-world atmosphere. We were welcomed by the epitome of this stereotype, but the food was absolutely delicious. The artichoke was the best I have had in my life. Our first Wiener schnitzel in Vienna was just perfect.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Our server Heinrich was fantastic; attentive but not pushy, offered great recommendations and pairings, and overall went above and beyond. Was coming back from the bathroom as he was passing by to check on another table and he pulled my chair out for me without a word and without missing a beat. Most of our party wanted to do the tasting menu but my girlfriend and I already knew what we wanted off the standard menu, we asked if that would be alright and he had the kitchen course it out for us alongside our friends’ tasting menu dishes. All of the food was fantastic, the beef tartare, chicken supreme, and moules frites in particular. Did a 1-star Michelin the day after and it didn’t come close to Liebsteinsky. Go here!

One of the best food places in Vienna! Wine selection is also good. Great service and cosy atmosphere.

Business lunch menu offered a great value 2 or 3 courses lunch. Everything tastes amazing, especially the chocolate cake, perfect ending for the lunch!
