MAKA Ramen

To start with conclusion, Maka Ramen is now my no. 2 ramen place in Vienna 🫶. I had Tonkotsu Ramen which was really good - rich in flavor yet not overwhelming nor heavy and aesthetically pleasing with inviting plating. Room for improvement in terms of how the noodles are laid out in the bowl, were not properly „combed“. The space is intimate, better to be there before the busy dinner time starts. How the place is decorated stands out, gives an urban feel to the place. Nice background music. Service is attentive. I shall return, clear recommendation!

From all the ramen I have had in Austria this has to be the most delicious - even though the name may be somewhat of a misnomer here, the vegan variant tastes and looks nothing like a ramen would and the chicken broth - pork belly combination is also an unusual choice. Authenticity is not a requirement though and the soup definitely delivers with its rich and complex flavours, can fully recommend. The okonomiyaki was also a nice and tasty surprise - a rare find in Vienna.

The window tables is next to each other, so if u wanba talk with somebody its not perfect! I was there we my friend an we had 3 starters: cooked mushroom, melanzana & chicken. After we had 2 different Ramen as main course, everything was very superdelicious.

Great place to eat. Although you have only a few Ramen options to choose from, the one we took was awesome. Starter was also very tasty. The staff are very nice and helpful. All in all - we highly recommended this restaurant.

although not 'traditional' the Ramen is excellent. In the top 3 in Vienna, which is saying something because Vienna has some VERY good Ramen!. The starters are just as good, and menu changes every few months. We tried the pumpkin tempura, seaweed salad and chicken satay - all great! You can tell all the dishes are well-prepared and using the best ingredients. Great service, atmosphere and selection of drinks. Highly Recommended.
