Mayer am Nussberg

Beautiful location and very nice wine. We were lucky to have fantastic weather in early November. Busy but we got there a little after ope in and got a great table. No reservation needed. Some reviews reported bad service but I found the staff to be efficient and friendly. Glad we came here. FYI if you are willing you can walk all the ay from central vienna. It's about 2 hours but you get to see a variety of vienna neighborhoods which was really cool.

One of my absolute favorite spots in the area. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but the stunning view and the super comfortable sunbeds make it totally worth it. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and unwinding, whether you're spending the day or just a few hours. Definitely a place to treat yourself.

Awesome views and good wines, food is quite limited in options and there are only a couple of vegetarian friendly there. A bottle of wine starts from 23euros (price from late June 2024) so a bit pricey, but still very acceptable taking in consideration the views and atmosphere. Service is good, they speak English too! Surprisingly you CAN pay by card there! The only one downside why it’s not 5 stars is the drinking water. The only option is a bottled water which costs crazy 6.40 euro for a 0.75L. It’s quite hot in summer and drinking wine means that you need to drink water too. And to pay 6.40 for water is something i feel crazy. Even in the airport it would cost twice less, you know.

Nice place and you should reserve a table in advance! However, you can always join someone like we did 🙏! good wine and cold snacks! a long walk but worth it or take a mini train that takes you there for a fee!

Our second stop on the Kahlberg wine tour. They offered fresh young wine at a reasonable price. However, it was really hard to find a seating place. Well worth it for the view.
