Mochi Ramen Bar

An absolutely fantastic experience at Mochi Ramen Bar! The service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Reservation? First come, first serve. I had the spicy chicken ramen miso-goma, which was incredibly flavorful, perfectly balanced, and had just the right level of heat and spice. Also the starters were delicious. The music was energetic and perfectly set the mood, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the place. Combined with excellent food and a great overall vibe, this is easily one of my favorite Ramen spots in Vienna. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back!

Some places are restaurants. Some places become emotional landmarks. I come to Mochi Ramen Bar when I’m celebrating life, and I come here when life feels heavy. Somehow, both occasions feel right here. The Tori Karaage is my ultimate comfort food – crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the kind of dish that can instantly improve even the darkest day. Pair it with a glass of Crémant, and suddenly the world seems a little brighter again. What makes this place truly special, though, is the people. Today, while I was eating outside, I was unexpectedly harassed by a homeless person. Before I even had time to react, a member of the team noticed the situation and immediately stepped in to help. That kind of attentiveness, kindness, and care cannot be taught – it comes from genuinely caring about your guests. Great food brings people in. Great people make them come back. Thank you for being one of my favorite places in Vienna. I’ll be back on happy days and on difficult ones alike.

One of the best ramen bar in town. Delicious ramens, drinks and desserts. The staff is really friendly and helpful. It is a small place so you might have to wait a bit but the food is definitely worth it. Plus point for the japanese songs which make the experience even more authentic.

We didn’t have a reservation, but after just 10 minutes, we were able to get a table. The counter seating had a genuine Japanese atmosphere. We had the vegan mushroom miso ramen, which was full of flavor and very satisfying. We discovered that they also have a vending machine on the other side of the street.

Overall - Good food, wonderful atmosphere and kind staff (highly recommended) Food - When I went I ordered from the seasonal menu and got the Spargel (Asparagus) Ramen. It tasted very good! The broth was definitely a highlight of the ramen it was hot but not too hot to the point of burning your mouth. The flavour was not saturated and overpowering, and has a good balance of ingredients. I would highly recommend getting an extra egg with this ramen it adds much more flavour. They hadany sides and a few desserts unfortunately I wasn't able to try any when I went but they look very good!! Service - Great service the restaurant itself looked packed but when waiting for a table they were very quick and offered me a seat in front of the chefs. As a solo diner this was really nice because it was like a show in front of me. The servers were very attentive and took down my orders without error. When receiving the ramen as I was right in front of the chefs they handed it to me directly which was awesome! Atmosphere - The atmosphere is excellent not only is the atmosphere but also the layout of mochi ramen as a restaurant. They have very limited room but utilized so well. They have two patios and the interior is also wonderful. The decorations and lighting created a cosy vibe and just a wonderful experience. Comments - I would highly recommend this restaurant food is great! There are only two cons I can comment on this restaurant is that it can get busy but that's not really that bad. The second is as a student the prices are not super student friendly but that is okay! If you have the budget go here it's great!! :)
