À fairly large and well designed restaurant. Our service was very friendly, caring and competent - initially it came across as American style service rather than the warm and personality driven Service Austria is appreciated for. As the evening progressed, our waiter turned out to be top! Even his quite unusual wine recommendation was spot on. Food however was a challenge and coordination of courses the other. After the mixed salad (OK) as starter took its time, a hard to define Foie Gras Crème Brûlée arrived, smuthered in caramelized onion (?). One main course (seafood pasta) was next, small pieces of rubbery, frozen seafood on black pasta in a ?? Sauce. Next cames the (admittedly tasty) lemon risotto, meant as a side dish to accompany the main course lobster.. However, the lobster took several more minutes to show it's tiny face, leaving us to eat the pasta cold (the few bites I tried in the hope it might get tastier) and the risotto lukewarm. On the culinary side, our expectations were definitely not met. Again, service was impeccable.
