Fine dining without the snobbiness of fine dining. The staff clearly enjoy their work and have fun doing it. Creative dishes with modern takes on classic flavors. Amazing atmosphere and an overall relaxed and enjoyable evening. Great concept, I wish more restaurants were as open to experiment as Mraz & Sohn.

More than a year ago, my boyfriend and I made a reservation at Mraz & Sohn. When we realized that the date fell on the very day we would sign the contract for our new home, it felt like a small touch of fate. The evening felt special from the start. Every dish showed care, research, and personality. Ingredients we thought we knew were transformed into something surprising and refined. A simple mushroom became so rich and complex that even the finest meat could not compete. There was creativity in every course, but also balance and precision. I am still thinking about the Thunfisch Mett Brötchen. We talked about it the entire night. It was bold and playful, yet perfectly executed. We arrived with high expectations after waiting more than a year. We left happy, impressed, and grateful to have experienced something truly memorable. It was the perfect way to mark an already important day, starting a new journey in our new home, with a different kind of journey, one through flavors and senses. Waow! Unique experience, so pleasant. Local and simple products, not destroyed by too much processing, but so well seasoned, cooked, presented. Some dishes are fingerfood, quite funny. Very cool place and team, but they take good care. Finally, a cheese trolley like nowhere else in Austria in 20 years. Even cheese is different there. I strongly recommend, but booking needs a long term planning !

One of the best - if not the best - culinary experiences I had at a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Besides the fantastic, local food, the atmosphere and staff are just outstanding. You immediately feel welcomed and set for an evening you won’t forget. Another highlight is the wine tasting - a vast selection of orange wines. At Mraz & Sohn I experienced food in a way I couldn’t imagine before. We will come back soon!

We had the pleasure of dining at Mraz & Sohn last week, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The staff was incredibly welcoming! The ambiance was perfect—we were able to sit by the open kitchen making it a great experience for a special evening out. The food was outstanding. Every dish from the menu was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and that the kitchen takes pride in every plate that leaves the pass. What really set the experience apart was the service. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of the entire evening. They were also very accommodating with food preferences and restrictions, which was much appreciated. Also, the chef and servers waits by the door at the end of the dinner to say goodbye. Just impressive. It’s rare to find a restaurant that hits all the marks—great food, great service, and great atmosphere—but Mraz & Sohn exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning and recommending it.
