Nightflys American Bar

One of my favorite bars in Vienna. Excellent drinks & music and the friendly bartender/owner always make it a great experience. I've always met fun people there, clientele is pleasant and not pretentious. It's a great place for dates or just hanging out with friends. This bar also has a great history, American GIs hung out here between 1945 and 1955 for example and played Jazz music.

Went there two nights in a row. The cocktails are definitely tastefully done. Good jazz music. Friendly atmosphere. Not noisy, perfectly suitable if you want an entertaining night with one or two friends.

Very nice and comfy place with atmosphere of swing/jazz style. Once you sit down, you hear Frank Sinatra. They bring you glass of water and peanuts :). There is very kind bartender behind the bar with a big smile and kind attitude. I would recommend this place for a 100 % :)

Pretty high end, very American like service. You pay for it, but it is worth it for the wonderful ambiance, service, and drinks. Have an EXTENSIVE menu (76 pages!!) To order from! Quiet place to talk, and we went on a Thursday night when there was live piano music after 9PM and it was lovely. Also had a non smoking portion separated with a door and could still hear the piano great. Would definitely recommend for a nice date night or if you're looking for a nice place to take your parents.

This bar has been my go-to for a Friday night drink for a solid three years now. It's unmatched in atmosphere, service and drink quality. I've never had anything here that didn't taste good, and if on some nights I'm not sure what to order, an excellent recommendation will be made. The owner is hands down the friendliest barkeeper I've met in my fairly short lived bar experience. Since I've become a regular, he's always struck up a conversation with me. He understands how to build a lasting relationship with customers, and I'm glad to say that I'm one of them. I've been here on a regular Friday night, birthdays, live piano nights and even dates. This place works perfectly for any occasion. If you're looking for a regular bar, or even just a lovely place to grab a few drinks while you're in town, I can wholeheartedly recommend Nightfly's!
