Reviews
I just had my meal here. My reservation was at 11:30 a.m. Since the restaurant also opens at 11:30, I was the first guest to arrive. The interior has a lovely ambiance, and the woman at the reception desk was very sweet. I tried the Tafelspitz — it’s definitely a dish for two people. I couldn’t finish it, but it was absolutely perfect. The way it was served, the sauces, the broth, the meat, the potatoes, and the bone marrow were each outstanding on their own. The server, Mr. Cetic (I’m not completely sure about the spelling), was excellent. He was very friendly, served everything step by step, kindly answered my questions, and even came over to season the bone marrow with salt and pepper for me. My only issue is that reservations are limited to one hour. I think 1.5 hours would be more ideal. They mentioned it at the entrance and didn’t remind me again. I left after 45 minutes, so I’m not sure if they would have warned me, but even though no one was standing over me, I still felt like I had to rush.
We were pleasantly surprised that the place is open until midnight. After a long journey from Venice to Vienna we really craved a schnitzel. Being at the same restaurant in its different location before we knew that this schnitzel will meet our expectations. And it definitely did. We opted for the most classic schnitzel one with potato salad and another with rosti. Both of them were exceptional. Great local beer. We definitely recommend and will come back. Worth the price.
Had the Wiener Schnitzel and Tafelspitz. Both were absolutely amazing and would 100% recommend both dishes to anyone. The portions are quite large, so we didn’t get an appetizer nor a dessert. The staff recommended a great Austrian wine. Staff were very helpful, welcoming and truly genuine. Overall fabulous evening!
This restaurant offers a flawless dining experience where meticulous attention to detail shines in every corner. The food quality is exceptional, featuring fresh ingredients and exquisite flavors that truly stand out. What makes it unforgettable is the cordial and welcoming service, making every guest feel genuinely valued. The staff’s proactive care and thoughtfulness ensured that every part of our evening was handled perfectly. It is a rare gem where passion for hospitality and culinary excellence meet seamlessly.
Amazing place with a wonderful, cozy atmosphere. Everything felt very warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our waiter, Ivan, was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. We were celebrating my birthday, and my boyfriend and I had an absolutely lovely time. We ordered the beef with mashed potatoes — it was insanely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. We also enjoyed some wine, which complemented the food beautifully. Overall, we loved everything about this place: the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Such a pleasant and memorable experience. Highly recommend!
