The restaurant is very popular, waited a bit for a table. The food came out quickly, had to wait a little to pay because there were many people. The dishes were good and the portions were enough. got the beef liver soup and it was pretty good.

It's a typical traditional Wien restaurant. Inside is nice and original; many people, and waiters are very fast, running around. Our waitress was very smiley and polite, and she brought everything we needed extremely quickly. The typical schnitzel was very good, as was the soup of the day, and the beef with noodles was great. They had ok dark beer and coffee to go with the apple strudel.
My experience was dining on a Sunday night. I started with Veganer Schnitzel. It was factory manufactured food, with a rubbery texture and flavourless too. I then ordered the frittatensuppe (rindsuppe broth with pancakes). This was tasty - although I feel I have had exactly the same broth in another restaurant, so I wonder whether this soup was bought in from a foodservice wholesaler rather than made in house. The pancakes were enjoyable enough, but they were quite chewy like they had been made quite some time ago. It all made sense when a neighbouring table ordered the goulash, and I could see that the Spätzle on his plate was clearly taken from a big dish and aged somewhat too. It was notable that between ordering any dish and device at the table was around three minutes only. The restaurant doesn’t cook dishes to order, but clearly serves everything from Bain Maries in the kitchen. If you’re lucky you’ll be served from a fresh batch. If you’re unlucky you’ll be given food which has sat around for an hour or so. That said, the service was attentive - indeed excellent, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great too.
The food was excellent, the staff here is really nice and smiling all the time. Also they will help you make the best choice regarding your order of food. We had the traditional sausage and a schnitzel and both were really tasty! Not sure if they take reservations but the line outside for lunch was bit long and we waited about 40-45min. If you have time i recommend waiting!
We came here to have dinner with Austrian cuisine, choosing this place based on the large number of reviews and the rating on Google Maps, and also judging by the queue that was here when we arrived, we got the impression that it would be delicious. Since there was a long queue, we were offered to share a large table with another couple that we didn't know, and we agreed although we didn't really like it, but when we sat down at the table we saw that a table for two was free and so we moved there. The food turned out to be delicious, but you shouldn't expect anything special. Our order was two soups, goulash, and sausages with cabbage and potatoes. It all cost 50 euros. The atmosphere here is quite good, although quite simple. The service is also not bad. Conclusion: the place is a bit overrated, nothing special. I would come back here again, but if I didn't have to wait in line
