Walked in past noon on weekend Sunday without pre-booking & thankfully we were given a table for 5 hungry ppl.😋😋 Bit of a wait for food but all good as wait staff were welcoming & friendly to us tourists from 🇦🇺 & 🇺🇸. Enjoyed my pizza & so did others with their choices. Could not finish my pizza & wait staff put leftover in a takeout box for me. Loved my cappuccino too! Paid cash & tipped 10%. Nice lunch & ambience. Visit was few weeks prior to Xmas recently. 🥂🥂

Very disappointing and upsetting experience. We ordered truffle pasta, but were instead served truffle-filled pasta (ravioli), which was not what we ordered. This mistake was never properly explained or corrected. The total bill was €91.10. When paying in cash, my sister handed over €10, and the staff kept the entire €10 as a service charge without clearly explaining it or asking for consent. When I questioned this, the staff member stared at me aggressively and said, “So you don’t want to pay the service fee?”, which felt intimidating and highly unprofessional. Regardless of local tipping customs, service charges should always be clearly communicated and never taken by force. To make matters worse, later that evening my sister became violently ill and vomited badly shortly after eating the seafood pasta, raising serious concerns about food hygiene and seafood freshness. We even had to rely on medication we brought from home to manage her symptoms, and the situation was especially stressful as we had a flight the next day. Between the wrong dish being served, the forced service charge, rude attitude, and food safety concerns, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially if you plan to order seafood.🤮

An excellent restaurant. I had the lobster foam soup followed by ravioli with burrata and tomatoes and both were delicious. Efficient service by the waiting staff and food arrived promptly.

I was taken to this restaurant for a company dinner and was told that this establishment is reknown in Austria for being one of the best Italian restaurant. That set the stage for a bit of expected disappointment, since being married to an Italian woman I have high expectations for Italian cuisine. I chose the San Danielle prosciutto with melon as a starter. The ham is just that slices of ham and with an excellent quality product like San Danielle you can't go wrong. The ham was great indeed, but I did not need to be served the whole leg of the pig in sliced ham. It's a Germanic thing to serve ridiculously large portions, so not necessarily a critique specifically for this restaurant, but anno 2026 it is just a shame to bring served such a large portion such that half of the excellent meat had to be send back to the kitchen. Then serving melon on February also makes no sense because the fruit is not in season then and is not tasty outside its season. On to the main course, which was a perfectly good risotto. Nothing negative to say about it, except that I am spoiled, because the risotto I get to beat at home is just as good. Yes, my wife can cook very well, but from the supposedly best Italian in Vienna, I had hoped to be blown away more.

The Spaghetti Arrabbiata is why I came here, and it was recommended with the added burrata, and it was amazing. I added a glass of Pinot Grigio to make my birthday trip to Vienna extra special. I’ll visit here again.
