Restaurant Herzig

We had a 10/10 experience at Herzig. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the evening. The food was outstanding, with flavor combinations that were so original and refined that it felt like an exceptional, top-level dining experience. A special shout-out to the Belgian sous-chef, who personally came to explain each dish in Dutch — as Belgians, we really appreciated that personal touch. Overall, an unforgettable meal that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Vienna.

One of the best dining experiences I had in Vienna. A very harmonic and well thought Menu that translates the expertise and experience of the chef course by course. I was amazed by the friendliness and attentive service. On top of it all, I need to say that I had my dog with me and he was treated with so much care and attention and everyone else in the room. This was incredible experience, food and selection of vines was excellent. We spent 4 hours eating and drinking in this beautiful place. Portions are perfect size, but come hungry definitely. Restaurant was full, but we never waited for anything, food and drinks just kept coming. Atmosphere was excellent, lovely people and staff.

Excellent food and impeccable service. Every dish looked like it should be framed and hung in a museum—then we happily destroyed it slowly but ruthlessly. The presentation was elegant, and the creativity was off the charts. Every dish is like traditional Chinese ink paintings that properly balanced the space and visual banquet. The owner, who is also the master chef, stopped by our table and shared a bit of his background—super friendly and genuinely charming. This meal was the pinnacle of our trip to Vienna and the highlight of our Christmas season. My wife and kids all enjoyed this excellent experience.
