Schlawiener Wirtshaus

Very good experience at SW. Had reserved a table in advance and that seemed to be a good idea. We were sitting in the small eating room next to the kitchen and it was a nice and quiet room. Very good and friendly service and the waiters spoke good English. Food was served very quickly and although the veal schnitzel was a bit pricey it was very tasty with good accessories. No room for dessert afterwards. Can recommend this place if you look for quality food, good service and a nice restaurant.

The Wiener Schnitzel was excellent — perfectly crispy with a thin, delicate coating and a generous portion size. The potato and cucumber salad on the side was also really tasty and complemented the dish beautifully. For dessert, we had the caramelized Kaiserschmarrn, which was absolutely delicious. It wasn’t too sweet, and the caramelized edges added a deep flavor and satisfying crunch. Definitely one of the best I’ve had so far!

We were recommended this place by a local who said it was authentic Viennese. The veal schnitzel was prepared traditionally according to the Viennese in the party. The veal was cooked very nicely and the breading was thin and not too fried. Also had some great Austrian beers.

We had an early dinner here with a big group of people and the experience was brilliant. Service was excellent, we had no problem at all with the orders. We all had the set menu and all dishes were very good. The tartare and the fried cauliflower were particularly good. We got so much food from each dish. Portions were enormous!!!!

We ordered 3 Wiener Schnitzel’s and they were €32 each, making it quite expensive, considering there was more fried breadcrumbs than actual meat inside (the meat inside was only 3mm thick). The other two plates were okay. We also ordered Kaiserschmarrn for dessert and it was half of what they usually give in other places - it was €12. They should lower their prices in my opinion, or make better quality food.
