SO/ Vienna

Our stay at SO/ Vienna from the 23rd to the 26th was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel truly understands how to look after their Accor Platinum members. We were generously given a double upgrade to a beautiful suite, which instantly elevated our stay and made it feel incredibly special and thoughtful. Breakfast at Das Loft was a highlight every single morning. Nico and Mardina deserve special recognition for their warmth, impeccable service, and outstanding attention to detail. They made us feel genuinely welcome, remembered preferences effortlessly, and created an atmosphere that was both elegant and heartfelt. Their care and professionalism turned breakfast into a daily experience we looked forward to. The combination of refined luxury, attentive service, and genuine hospitality made this one of our most memorable hotel stays. SO/ Vienna sets a very high standard, and we cannot wait to return. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located, with stylish interiors and amenities. The room is well thought out and designed, the views are spectacular. We really enjoyed the sauna and the rooftop restaurant. Also, we found the service great, always attentive to accommodate us better.

We decided to spend New Year’s Eve and the following day at this hotel mainly because of the spa, sauna, and jacuzzi. We also chose it for the nice view from the window. In the end, the only thing we actually liked was the view. Everything else was disappointing — from the staff’s attitude (they didn’t seem very motivated or welcoming), to the service, the room layout, and the lack of space, even though we booked a fairly large room. It was unclear how to order room service, and the room itself was very dirty. The interior feels outdated, and again — very dirty. The glasses in the bathroom next to the soap were dirty with fingerprints, the towels felt strange, and overall everything looked messy and poorly maintained. We travel a lot and don’t mind paying for good accommodation, but this place was definitely not worth the price. The quality simply doesn’t match what you pay for. *The spa did not meet our expectations at all. It was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, and it ended up being very disappointing.

The room was well furnished and very clean. The amenities and service were excellent. A bottle of bubbles was left in our room (gratis) to celebrate the new year, a nice touch from the hotel. The views from our room and the loft restaurant were amazing.

I had breakfast served by Nico, and he was absolutely wonderful. He shared many recommendations for sightseeing, and thanks to his advice, I was able to enjoy my time in Vienna to the fullest. He speaks multiple languages and his hospitality was truly impressive. The room was spotless, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt modern and stylish. I would love to come back again on my next visit to Vienna. Highly recommended!
