It’s one of the best swimming pools in Europe. Located in the city, accessible by public transportation, a 50m Olympic-size pool, dive boards (though not always permitted for a jump), swim lanes, swim clocks, an impressive 10m diving board at the side, leading to a nice water depth on one side of the pool, and a top-notch atmosphere. It might be crowded, but one can train there with ease. No water fountain in the pool area, which slightly reduces its value, but the water temperature is good. Lockers with a lock - using a special coin with the card you purchased, offers a day pass, 9 euros for 90 minutes: well-maintained bathrooms, plus hair dryers. Well deserved a visit for all who wish to train while traveling. For more pools like this in Europe and beyond, check out @triathlontrips on Instagram, Facebook, or TriathlonTrips.com.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Lane swimming is chaotic because everyone shares the same lanes regardless of speed, and mixing very slow with very fast swimmers feels unsafe and creates a lot of potential dangers. Staff seem friendly at first, but that changes quickly if you raise a complaint or point out a problem. They also stop swimming 2 minutes before the official closing time because the pool clock is set 2 minutes fast, and when you complain about it the staff insist the time is correct. Overall, it doesn’t feel customer‑oriented, and I wouldn’t recommend it for regular lane swimming.

This is the best swimming pool I’ve visited in my life this far. Perfect for swimmers that want to practice their sport while traveling. They have a 8 EUR one visit ticket with no time limit enforced. The staff is friendly and even if they don’t speak much English they are helpful. The process to enter is actually quite simple. You get a plastic card you use to enter a turnstile, you then use that same card to insert it into a machine that gives you a token/coin and the card back. That token is used at the dressing room to lock the locker and you take your key in your wrist. You can use the same token to open and close the locker as many times you want. Therefore you do not need neither a padlock nor a euro coin. The locker room is shared between men and women and is very large. You can either change fully there itself or use one of the available cubicles if you prefer. Showers are gender separated and ample with good temperature and space to put your soap. They will let you use fins at the pool, which is huge. 50 meters long fully made of stainless steel with lanes. Water is on the colder side but OK. Fully clear super clean water. Some lanes are reserved for lessons but you will have enough space to swim at ease. Mid day is always better. But after work hours are manageable. Swim caps are not required but I used and most people did. There is a separate pool for small kids and a section of the main pool for jumping and another for more leisure swimming with no lanes. People are very respectful and you will not find non swimmers in the lanes. The process to get out is inverse: you enter the cars in the machine. Put your token in which is not returned, get the card back and insert that card in the exit turnstile to get out. There is also a sauna area that I did not have the chance to try out. Take into account the doors could be closed before the closing time of the pool. So don’t expect to enter in the last hour or so. Would love to come back next time I return to Vienna. Thanks a lot for making this facility open to anyone.

A very nice, big pool that was clean and managed by friendly staff. The entire building's facilities were quite clean. As a tourist visiting Vienna, I found it conveniently located off of the city tram ("Bim"?). The main pool was clean, but its free-swim section got so crowded that I had to move to the kiddie pool nearby (😂). Perhaps the management can rearrange/extend the hours for all the lanes, or the local city commissioners could just build more public pools across Vienna. The other patrons were friendly and respectful, though the mixed-sex locker rooms/changing area felt awkward as a foreigner whose home country handles such things differently. It was still decently accommodating for modesty, and safe. Unfortunately, some of the lockers jam easily, not opening or closing securely with the wristlet key. I'm still glad I chose this place to get a swim workout while on vacation.

Very nice large swimming pool Busy but well organised If you only speak English make sure that you ask for what you specifically want. (I didn’t mention that I wanted to use the Sauna as well as wanting to swim and then that was including in my pass) Lockers are coin operated - but coins are included with electronic cards - use the machines in the changing rooms
