Great place. Not so easy to get inside. You should purchase ticket in advance. They only allow visits on Fridays and only limited amount of people with guided tour. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to make a lot of photos inside, but the place is very nice and beautiful. And due to difficulties, it is not overcrowded :)
Extremly well preserved, defenetely worth visiting. The Family Liechtenstein has done it all to keep the authentic feeling of the building and the rooms. 4* because there is nothing to buy as a memory. No souvenirs, no books, nothing.
As a non-German speaker, I wouldn’t recommend the tour. While the decoration is certainly over-the-top luxury, I didn’t feel it was worth the money.
Beautiful palace, one of two, owned by the princely family Lichtenstein and dates back to the late 1600s and contains artwork from the 16th-18th century. This is still an active residence, but not the portion that is on the tour. The Palace was spared from bombs that fell in vienna during WWII.
Walked into entrance which was VERY sparse. Doorman and website said that access inside was only for concerts etc or booked tours on Fridays in German.
