Reviews
We heard about this 1-star Michelin restaurant that is fully vegetarian and can even be vegan if you choose. While in Vienna, it was among the highly anticipated restaurants on our list. We had an eight-course dinner. The flavors delighted your senses with each dish, and even though you saw the menu beforehand, tasting it in person was much better than just imagining the details of each course. Some vegetables used are usually strong and pungent, but the way the chef presents them makes them simply delicious. I can also confirm that you won't leave hungry after several small vegetable courses. In fact, you'll feel like you've eaten incredibly healthy during your vacation, for a change! I'm not vegan or vegetarian by any means, and I wouldn’t likely eat most of these veggies again on their own. But this dinner was incredibly flavorful and delicious, and I only wish all my veggie dishes could taste like this all the time. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic experience at TIAN. The way they brought new flavors and creativity to vegetarian dishes was truly impressive - everything we tried was absolutely delicious :) Out of the four Michelin-starred restaurants we’ve visited around the world, this one easily stands out as our TOP-1. The presentation was beautiful, the service was fast and at a very high level, and the location itself is excellent. We also loved the non-alcoholic pairing option Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience vegetarian cuisine at its finest
My favorite vegetarian meal I’ve had. My girlfriend had the vegan option that was also incredible. Although not shown online, they have an extensive wine list and some digestifs for after dinner. The food was very thoughtful and really transitioned into the next course well. I thought the space had really cool lighting. The service was extraordinary and I was really happy with the wine recommendations. For 2 of us with a bottle of wine and 2 more drinks, it was about $700, which admittedly was a little pricey, but it was a beautiful experience and a great way to celebrate.
Best vegetarian Michelin dinner you can probably find around the world. Very unique seasonal tasting menu, exceptional experience and service
For prices like these you expect one of the greatest meals of your life, and while some dishes excelled, we thought a few of the dishes lacked a bit in flavour. Service was excellent, there was a good range of wine by the glass, and staff did an excellent job of catering for a gluten free requests. The entire meal takes over 3 hours (which is not a criticism, it’s well paced) and while some of the course are tiny, you certainly won’t leave there hungry. But for these prices every dish needs to be exceptional and to our tastes, we thought too many of them came up short.
