This place is tucked in a little alley close to St Stephen’s church. They offer many selection of small open sandwich toppings. It is a place for savoury snack before meal. Take a rest while having delicious bite. Not to be missed.

We stopped by for a quick snack. It's a very organized, clean, and practical business. The snacks are nicely prepared and varied. However most of them didn't really appeal to me, but my daughter liked it. She's counting calories, it made sense for her and seemed delicious. The service is good, and the staff are friendly.

Trześniewski – A Must-Try Vienna Classic! Trześniewski in Vienna is such a unique and delightful spot! They serve small, open-faced sandwiches on dark rye bread with a variety of flavorful toppings — both vegetarian and non-vegetarian — making it a perfect quick bite between sightseeing stops. At the counter, they hand you a photo menu so it’s easy to choose. We tried several vegetarian options and loved the carrot-pea, pepper cream cheese, tomato, and cream cheese-carrot ones. My husband tried the egg one, which was really good too. The flavors are simple yet surprisingly rich and well-balanced. We visited the Dorotheergasse location, great for people-watching and taking a break from exploring. I loved it so much that I visited again the next day after spotting another branch nearby — it truly felt like a treat I’d manifested twice! There are multiple locations across Vienna, including central spots, train stations, and even the airport. It may look simple, but trust me — this is a must-visit in Vienna. Take a quick snack break here, and these little bites will surprise you with their charm and flavor.

MUST TRY experience - do some homework prior to arrival but they also have a postcard menu + ladies. Ice enough to explain - 3 different beer sizes depends how thirsty you are but would say must pair a sandwich and beer Accidentally deleted some pictures but we had - salmon + cream cheese + horseradish very tasty - bacon and eggs was no brainer good - chicken liver was light and tasty - had a truffle egg i believe which the kids loved Wish i had more space and time wouldve had them all Make the time you wont regret it PS - interesting journey downwards to their toilets which are well kept

A staple of Vienna that you must try for yourself. They sell open sandwiches on dark rye bread but the options are almost unlimited. The fact that it’s in the centre makes this place perfect for a quick bite and a beer.
