Urbanek

As a Bourdain pilgrim, Urbanek was probably one of the best spots I’ve been to (and I’ve visited a handful!) A small, family-run spot in Naschmarkt; we were warmly welcomed by its owner and immediately suggested their bestsellers including the pork belly and roast beef. Highly recommended amongst all restaurants in the area!

This place is overrated and overpriced. On top of that, it’s full of obnoxiously self-important and painstakingly rude regulars from Vienna or tourists who saw it on Anthony Bourdain’s show and now come swarming in. The only unpretentious thing was this platter - so modest and yet, worth 50€

Best place at the Naschmarkt for quality food and good champagne. Authentic owner who really lives the vibes. Must visit.

Daniel was so nice, service was super fast and the roastbeef was veeeery delicious! He recommended us a restaurant for dinner which turned put to be also amazing so i have only positive things to say about this place. Wish we had more time to try even more charcuterie

I first heard of this place on the Anthony Bourdain show. They were far more kind and gracious than I could have imagined. As the only non-Austrian visiting the shop at that time, I was made to feel welcome. Both the food and the wine were perfectly to my liking. The conversation I had with the brothers will stay with me for a lifetime. This place is one of the reasons I love Vienna.
